Doh...in the wrong tournament. Before the season began, I picked two sleepers teams (not ranked in the pre-season Top 25) that I thought could make the Final Four this year, Ohio State and Clemson.
Congratulations to the Buckeyes, who won the NIT Championship last night. They had an up and down season, but their run in the NIT proves they had the talent. They gelled a bit late in the season to make it to the NCAAs, but winning the NIT is a nice consolation.
Depending what happens with Koufas (stay or NBA), they could return a good or great team next year. Obviously losing senior Butler will be a blow, but they are stacked with young talent and if Koufas stays they could start the year in the Top 10.
