4th Annual - College Hoops' Midnight Madness Recruiting Visit List

It's that time of year again -- college hoops is about to start! And not a moment too soon. I don't know about you, but I am ready. Midnight Madness officially starts on Friday, October 15th, so get your ankles taped and get ready to strap in for some rip-roaring fun. As usual, both ESPNU and the Big Ten Network will be covering the events at campuses across the country.

For the fourth time in as many years, I am providing a comprehensive list on where the uncommitted recruits are going for Midnight Madness. As usual, I have to qualify that I am not including any verbally committed recruits on this list -- if the recruit is committed to your school they are likely to be at Midnight Madness -- and frankly no one else cares once they are committed to your school.

Also let me say that I will be updating this list through the event and for several days after the weekend, so check back frequently. Many of these young men change their plans so if I have them attending one school but they change their mind, I will adjust when I learn about it -- but I may miss a few. Feel free to send me a message or comment if you think I have any errors. Finally, if you do not see your school listed, I say sorry in advance. This list is primarily focused on teams that are the top competing programs in the country. However, I am sure I have missed a couple of those. If they have not been mentioned with a recruit coming then I would not necessarily have added them to the list.

How can you post Austin Rivers as attending UNC's Midnight Madness when he committed to Duke during the week?

WeirdRash said...

Very good point on Rivers. Thought I had removed him from my datasheet after the commit but must have missed him. Removed now.

MSU fan here:
Anton Grady is committed to Cleveland State and the staff moved on from Jeremiah Davis some time ago. Their 2011 class is full. Not to be too harsh, but where are you getting these names? Doesn't seem accurate or "definitive."

The info comes from about 12-15 sites across the web, primarily recruiting sites for states, schools, etc.

I think Grady and Davis were actually errors that were listed as visiting last year but the wrong date was listed on the site that I found them. I deleted both of them.

Good catch, WeirdRash. I was almost going to suggest that they were left over from last year. That would make sense and I bet that was the case.

Yes most of the top competitive programs have Midnight Madness events. It has really grown dramatically over the past 5 years.
