Apparently, the coming blow-up at Kentucky related to Calipari's sleazy ways may be coming much sooner than I expected. There are rumors on the message boards that the NY Times is preparing a story about transgressions with Wall and Cousins. I know, I know anyone can post on a message board and a lot of the information is dubious, however, if you see enough smoke there usually is fire.
Here is a brief blurb on it from The Big Lead, a very legitimate sports blog.

I can imagine the conversations that must have transpired between the Teflon Don, Calipari, and his latest premier recruit, Brandon Knight.
"Look Brandon, I know you had your sights set on going over to Europe and getting paid for a year before the NBA draft, by why not come to UK instead. You won't make as much money, but you will get yours (wink, wink).
As I have said before, I don't care if you go to class. I have no illusions that you want to graduate or any of that scholarly stuff. I know you are only here for one year. Don't worry about the admission requirements, we will get you in.
Why not come here, start for us for a year -- get all the press that John got this year. They will forget about you in Europe but they won't forget about you here. I have the best PR machine in the business. I have several people on staff just to make sure you (and me) get all the press possible. C'mon, what do you have to lose"
As we all look back on the NBA's decision to create the 19 year old age limit for draftees, it was clear that some people were going to do better under that system than others.
Clearly, it was tailor made for a guy with an "ethics be damned, education doesn't matter" attitude. Nice work Kentucky alums, proving once again that winning "is" everything and that damaging a storied basketball history is a risk you are willing to take.
